Fanhams Hall is a characterful Jacobean country house in Ware, Hertfordshire, where historic interiors sit alongside contemporary meeting facilities and 27 acres of gardens and grounds. Fanhams Hall has 78 bedrooms arranged across the historic Main House and the Courtyard, with Signature Rooms and Junior Suites available alongside the wider bedroom collection. Rooms are individually styled and include work desks, making overnight stays practical for delegates attending multi-day events. Exclusive-use bookings can include all bedrooms, as well as the meeting, dining, and public spaces.
There are 10 principal meeting rooms alongside eight additional syndicate rooms, ranging from smaller boardrooms in the original house to larger contemporary spaces with integrated AV.
The Long Gallery accommodates up to 130 theatre-style, 100 cabaret-style or 70 boardroom-style. The Great Hall seats up to 100 theatre-style and 120 for banqueting, while Hertford & Ware accommodates up to 110 theatre-style. Smaller meeting rooms provide further options for workshops, breakout sessions and leadership meetings. For dining and receptions, the aptly-named Lakeside Pavilion accommodates up to 110 for dinner or 200 for a drinks reception.
The 27-acre estate includes formal gardens, woodland, meadows, lawns, decorative ponds and an orchard, giving delegates plenty of opportunities to step outside between sessions or incorporate team-building and wellness activities into the programme. The grounds also feature Japanese gardens with a tea house, an Austrian tea house and a wisteria walkway.
Corporate catering ranges from business-style lunches in the Lakeside Pavilion to private dining, afternoon tea, relaxed bar dining and alfresco garden meals during the warmer months. The chefs prioritise seasonal and local ingredients, with all dietary requirements accommodated. The Energy Zone provides coffee, tea, snacks and informal seating throughout the day, while private dining is available for up to 130 guests.
Fanhams Hall works particularly well for large residential conferences, leadership meetings, learning and development programmes, company offsites and team celebrations. Historic rooms provide character for board meetings and smaller sessions, while larger suites support presentations, workshops, conferences and group dining.
Advanced AV, video conferencing and complimentary Wi-Fi are available throughout the property, with private networks and wired or wireless connections of up to 900 Mb/s available on request. Exclusive use can also be arranged for organisations requiring privacy across the bedrooms, meeting rooms, lounges, public areas and grounds.
