Dewsall Court is a 17th-century country house set within 1,000 acres of countryside, just six miles from Hereford. This exclusive-use event venue in Herefordshire combines historic character with contemporary comfort, offering privacy, flexibility and exceptional in-house support for business retreats, product launches and leadership gatherings.

Accommodation

The estate sleeps up to 28 guests across 10 individually styled ensuite bedrooms in the main house and Cottage Barn. The principal suite occupies a generous first-floor wing, while additional rooms include elegant four-poster and mahogany bedrooms. Each space blends period features with modern bathrooms, luxury linens and thoughtful touches, ensuring a premium and restful stay for teams on one or two-night retreats.

Indoor spaces

Guests enter through large double doors into a grand hall with an impressive fireplace and staircase, setting the tone for arrivals and receptions. The Chinoiserie seats up to 12 for focused meetings, while the oak-panelled Study suits one-to-ones and executive sessions. The Conservatory accommodates up to 40 for dining or workshops. For larger events, the Wainhouse Barn seats up to 170 guests, with retractable glass walls opening onto the terrace. A billiards room and cellar with bar and dance floor add relaxed breakout and evening options.

Outdoor spaces

Dewsall’s 12 acres of gardens, wildflower meadows and private lake provide a natural setting for reflection and team building. The grounds include an ancient church, a working smallholding and expansive lawns for croquet, barbecues or structured activities. The lakeside meadow can host bell tents for additional accommodation. The Nest, a secluded treehouse hideaway, offers an enchanting space for cocktails or hot chocolate, with stunning countryside views across the estate.

Feasting is led by dedicated in-house chefs who create seasonal menus using the best of Herefordshire produce. From working breakfasts to formal dinners in the barn, catering is tailored to each brief.
