Broughton Hall offers 17 individually designed bedrooms within its historic walls, accommodating up to 32 guests for exclusive-use stays. Each room has its own character, suited to private house parties, leadership retreats and corporate hospitality. Across the wider estate, more than 20 holiday homes provide over 120 beds in total, enabling larger residential programmes, multi-day conferences and world-leading wellbeing retreats with flexible delegate accommodation.
The Hall’s five state rooms create an impressive yet comfortable setting for meetings and gatherings. The Green Drawing Room hosts up to 55 guests for presentations and talks, while the Dining Room seats up to 22 for private dinners or executive discussions. The Red Drawing Room, Library and Conservatory provide natural breakout areas. Beyond the Hall, Utopia, designed by Sir Michael Hopkins, offers contemporary meeting rooms and workshop space, while Avalon includes dedicated studios and meeting rooms for up to 120 theatre style.
The Sanctuary’s landscape is integral to the experience, with 2,500 acres of heather moorland, meadow pastures, woodland and rivers under an active Nature Recovery Project. Outdoor venues include the Fire Temple for covered gatherings of up to 100 guests, and the Cosmic Garden, a private woodland glade for dining and entertaining. Guests can explore trails, reservoirs and wild swimming spots, creating meaningful opportunities to connect with nature and each other.
In-house chefs at Broughton Hall create tailored menus ranging from traditional English cuisine for formal occasions to fresh, wholesome dishes for relaxed stays. Utopia, the estate’s walled garden bistro, serves nourishing plant-based breakfasts and lunches and can deliver conscious event catering designed to sustain energy and focus.
