Bodysgallen Hall & Spa is a Grade I-listed country house set within more than 200 acres of private parkland and gardens near Llandudno. Owned by the National Trust and part of its Historic House Hotels collection, the estate combines historic character, excellent dining, dedicated meeting space and a full spa, with views towards Conwy Castle and the mountains of North Wales. Accommodation
Bodysgallen has 31 individually designed rooms and suites, with 15 in the main house and 16 cottage suites within the grounds. Bedrooms in the Hall retain the character of the historic property, with antique furnishings, traditional interiors and views across the gardens and parkland. Four Principal Suites provide additional space with separate sitting rooms, while the cottages offer greater privacy and independence for guests who prefer to stay away from the main house.
The Hall Cottages are grouped around a secluded courtyard close to the main building, while six Spa Cottages occupy converted farm buildings near the spa. Cottage accommodation varies from studios to larger suites, including options with separate sitting rooms, kitchenettes and multiple bedrooms. Selected cottages are also dog friendly.
Indoor Spaces
The principal corporate event space is The Wynn Rooms, an imaginatively converted 18th-century stable block immediately beside the hotel. The Upper Wynn Room can accommodate up to 50 guests and works particularly well for board meetings, presentations, training sessions and private events. It benefits from natural daylight, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, AV facilities and direct access from the car park.
The Lower Wynn Room provides an additional space for breakout sessions, private dining, demonstrations or informal gatherings, while the Tack Room accommodates up to eight people and is perfect for smaller meetings, interviews or syndicate sessions. Within the main Hall, the Library and first-floor Drawing Room provide further characterful settings for informal meetings, receptions and private entertaining.

The estate extends across more than 200 acres of gardens, woodland, meadows and parkland, giving residential groups considerable space away from the meeting room. The restored gardens include a rare 17th-century parterre, walled rose garden, kitchen garden, lily pond and several historic follies, alongside a network of woodland and parkland walks.
Views towards Conwy, the Great and Little Orme and the surrounding North Wales landscape give the grounds a strong sense of place. The estate can also be used for outdoor activities and events, while guided garden tours can be arranged for groups looking for something more relaxed between working sessions.
Dining & Catering
Food is an important part of the Bodysgallen experience. Private dining can be arranged in both the main Hall and The Wynn Rooms, with the hotel's dining rooms accommodating lunches and dinners for groups of up to 50. The Drawing Room, Library and terrace can also be used for drinks receptions and private entertaining.
The restaurant holds 2 AA Rosettes, with menus built around seasonal ingredients and produce from the estate's own kitchen garden where possible. Bodysgallen sits between Llandudno and Conwy, making it particularly well placed for groups wanting to incorporate North Wales into a residential programme.
