Orchard Lodge is like distilled tranquillity. Surround by 7 acres of mature orchards and a beautiful landscaped garden, the house is full of warm light even on a rainy day.

You cannot help but feel your spirits lift as you enter the front door - the large windows; creamy colours and beautiful contemporary furniture surround you instantly in comfortable elegance and sunshine.

There is everything to like about this house – all 12 rooms have beautifully decorated contemporary bathrooms ensuite, there are 3 large sitting areas, two of which are joined by wonderful character french doors. They contain state of the art SKY linked TV systems, huge soft sofas and stunning fireplaces, so you will all have room to rest, play or catch up for a drink before dinner – drinks which can be served from your own little bar cleverly placed in the large stairwell.

Dinner will always be an experience at The Lodge. In the dining room, panelled with antique timber, sits a vast feature table made especially for the house - large enough for 24 people. There is a magnificent fireplace which adds to the elegance of this striking room, where contemporary and traditional have been mixed to stunning effect.

The large kitchen is well equipped with all the latest technology as well as an AGA; you will have no trouble whipping up anything from a simple breakfast to a gourmet feast. However, if this is all too much we can arrange help though our Tailor Made Service and we have the number of a locally renowned Corden Blue chef if you are looking to impress, or just to spoil yourself.

What we love most about this house is the sense of calm and health that it brings and this is added to by the many extras. The lovely kitchen opens up to a private Zen garden; there is a well-equipped gym complete with flat screen, fridge, shower and Ipod link up. You will also be able to enjoy the pool table and table football in the games room, the outdoor tennis court and of course, the lovely private pool with changing house secluded in the garden. After a long day, you can pop into the sauna and relax.

Of course, there are also many sporting activities such as walking and fishing in the gorgeous Herefordshire countryside and many quaint towns and villages for shopping and exploring. The major city of Birmingham is within easy reach if you cannot resist the pull of the big city lights.

We rarely see a house so well equipped to cater for everybody, there is so much to do that children and adults alike could never be bored. The house has been carefully designed to accommodate a full capacity of 24 people for both formal dinner and informal sitting but the many small sofas and window seats as well as the lovely grounds and Zen garden mean that you could while away an afternoon quietly reading your book in peace.

We think Orchard Lodge would be a spectacular house for a family holiday and equally suited to a weekend catching up with friends or for anybody unwinding and detoxing. It is a place where you can impress or relax, as you want. The Lodge really is the house that you have always dreamed of.
