Set in magnificent formal gardens and wild woodlands, the house has retained the dedication to honesty and beauty that the arts and crafts movement celebrated whilst gaining some lovely quirky touches from the current owner. Along with a fabulous modern art collection, the house boasts hand painted murals in the bedrooms, a piano once owned by Lew Grade and a 60's inspired chill out room as well as a gorgeous gem like mosaic room - there is even a teepee in the garden!

There is a fairytale moment when you reach the front door (can this building really exist outside of a story?) and then a huge sense of welcome as you enter the warm interior, so clearly a living home just waiting for guests.

You will instantly settle into the cosy country kitchen complete with range, be dazzled by the generous grand hall overlooking the gardens with its huge fireplace and double height gallery and sink happily into the comfy sofas of the music room.

Slowly you will start to discover the house’s treasures, the books, the paintings, the seemingly endless details that merge together to create this wonderful place, renewing your senses and relaxing your mind.

In the evening you can have dinner all together at the large dining table and admire the play of lights over the polished wood and colourful mosaics, then retire to the billiard room for a game or two.

Each bedroom is totally individual and you and your guests will have great fun trying to decide which is your favorite. With a versatile layout you are able to enjoy complete privacy or release your inner child and have midnight feasts in the dormitory.

Archery can be arranged in the grounds and the coast is just a 10 minute drive. The market town of Holt is just a couple of minutes away with quaint shops, good pubs and plenty of restaurants or you may decide to visit the cosmopolitan city of Norwich. The Queens’ residence at Sandringham is not far away and there 4 National Trust properties within easy driving distance.
