This totally unique property is just perfect for giving your guests an experience they will never forget. A picturesque Georgian Inn located in the heart of a quaint Peak District village is now a self catered venue which offers all the expected facilities with a few surprises thrown in.

Being in a village gives you a wealth of extra opportunities for indulgence. You won’t need to worry about supplies as the village shop has a world of options and there is also a delicious gourmet food shop offering both organic and locally made produce just steps from the door. If you’re looking for proper tea and a slice of cake pop into the craft centre for elevenses and you can even round off the day with good old fashioned fish and chips – all within walking distance.

What makes this property so special however is the amazing bar room complete with an authentic wooden bar from which you can draw your own beer supplied in kegs by the owners on request. With an open fireplace, flagstone floors and plenty of room to seat up to 30 for dinner it’s a really flexible and remarkable room.

There is a well equipped commercial catering kitchen perfect for catering for large groups with ease – either DIY or using outside caterers and there is a large comfortable lounge with big sofas and a huge TV for relaxing in.

In addition to the main building there are 3 cottages in the courtyard (originally stable buildings for the main property) which each have their own new kitchens and cosy living rooms with TV’s so perfect for extended family groups, quite time, teenagers dens’ or as break out space for meetings.

In the main building there are 8 ensuite bedrooms, 4 of which can be twins. All have a high standard bathroom with modern fittings, marble finishes and underfloor heating. The bedrooms have private TVs offering a flexibility which will suit many different types of groups.

The cottages offer a further 7 bedrooms all decorated in a light contemporary style with 5 additional bathrooms which offer the opportunity for larger groups to stay very comfortably.

If you feel like a bit of the great outdoors then this is the perfect area – almost any outdoor activity can be found locally, there are also many great pubs and pretty market towns with boutique shopping – we recommend the food at The Royal Oak in Hurdlow. The Peak District is of course renowned for its beauty and walking, but if its excitement you want then Alton Towers is just 30 minutes drive away.
