This lovely house is a totally unique party house that takes some beating - set on a beautiful golf course over looking the forth fairway, there is even a club house which you can wander down to for drinks or afternoon tea if the mood takes you. If you do play then a round of golf is a must.
Located in rolling Herefordshire countryside the views are beautiful and as the house has just the most amazing conservatory - just as perfect for lazy afternoons as it is for a big dinner party or a late night DVD - you don't have to miss any of them. We were privileged to just relax and watch a perfect winter sunrise from the comfortable sofas.
Upon arrival at the house you just can't miss the attention to detail, a deep gravel drive and electronic entrance gates set the scene but really it's when you are inside that the house exceeds your expectations. Immaculate throughout, the warm sitting room with it's large fireplace offers comfort whilst the black and white art deco inspired dining room is strikingly beautiful. There is a small study room with just the right type of leather chairs and a wonderful well equipped kitchen with a cosy AGA.
Nothing has been left out - there is some excellent entertainment equipment including a fantastic surround sound system on the ground floor on which you can play the ipod, CD or tuner, large flat screens and DVD players as well as a dedicated games room with table football, pool table and darts. There is also an outdoor giant chess board.
The bedrooms are all light and airy with crisp white sheets and outstandingly comfy beds - sleeping will be no trouble, but you might not want to get out of them.
If you think you may be stuck for something to do once you are tired of the golf course, football table, darts, pool table, views and just generally enjoying this lovely house then the area is full of great things to do. Within a very short walk is the local village pub, recommended by The Good Pub Guide, which offers a warm atmosphere and excellent food; there are also many more cosy country pubs in the local area. Hereford is known for food and outdoor pursuits as well as its cider and even vineyards. The famous festival at Hay is just a short drive away as is the Forest of Dean Go Ape centre, two National Trust properties and even ten pin bowling.
Just perfect for friends and family groups as everybody will find something to suit them this house would also be excellent for a corporate stay offering as it does such a high standard of decor and flexible bedrooms plus plenty of comfortable space.
Why not try something totally different - with this house you will certainly impress all your guests.
