Jennie Verleg
Jennie has been working as an Interior Designer for over 10 years.
Her decision to start The Country Castle Company was prompted by her
success at running a small business creating luxury environments. She has worked
in the Middle East for the last 4 years and she is keen to apply the high levels of
service that she grew accustomed to as a standard for The Country Castle Company.
Her projects have featured in "Theme" magazine, Robertsons Lighting Catalogue in the UK and
"Inside Out" magazine and "Friday" magazine in Dubai.
Tommy Verleg
As an Assistant Manager for the Grand Hyatt Dubai start up team Tommy has first
hand knowledge of starting up and running an events venue. He has worked for years
with some of the toughest customers in one of the highest consumer cities in the world.
His personal mission is to make every person who comes in contact with The Country
Castle Company excited and surprised by the high quality of our products and services.
Jennie and Tommy had their own Country Castle wedding in June 2005. It was an epiphany - they realised that a stunning property with no hotel rules or curfews and exclusive use coupled with exceptional service was very difficult to find. After a year of hard research they also realised that they were personally situated right in the middle of their key target market group making them uniquely placed to understand their customers' needs. With the current bonus boom and many foreign investors at the high end of the property market they knew that matching their skills with great houses could only bring profit to the owners and pleasure to their guests.
They are both equally committed to exploring the new markets that they have experienced and promoting UK tourism in fairly untouched markets such as China, India and The Middle East.
They have a very strong ethical and environmental commitment - and have made it policy to encourage ethical energy and materials in their venues and responsible travel for their guests. They are also committed to supporting and encouraging British heritage.
As the business expands they will start to offer property sourcing, interior design services and The Country Castle Company interior products that support these principals.
